Located below the Colomby de Gex, about 30 minutes from Branveau to the north. 1h30-2h from the forest road that runs along this side of the Jura mountain range. A sign marks the intersection between the access road leading up to the Crozet cable car and the path to Bévy.
The chalet is situated within the Réserve Naturelle Nationale de la Haute Chaîne du Jura. On a plateau overlooking the Geneva plain, mainly facing east. Three worn-out mattresses upstairs, in three small bedrooms. No fireplace/stove (the flue was broken on 26/04/2008, so it must not be used). No running water; rainwater is collected in tanks. It is likely a summer pasture used by shepherds during the season (and may therefore be closed), so it is advisable to check beforehand.
