From Castellane, you can climb via a trail that takes the bottom of the combe south of the Summit. Access via La Garde -> La chapelle -> Teillon is reopened, access has been diverted following the rockfall. The sign at the bottom of La Garde for the La Garde -> Ravin -> Teillon departure is upside down; the departure is indeed opposite the inn.
Everything is there (even the mice, so watch your supplies): the double mattress, the provisions, the gas stove, the Virgin Mary icon, the guestbook. Electricity is provided by a solar panel, the luxury!!
