Via the Chasse valley (above Villars-Colmars). The track leading higher above the hamlet of Chasse may be passable for a few kilometres or more.
This is a brand-new hut. OCCUPIED BY A SHEPHERD DURING THE SUMMER PASTURE SEASON !! Very good insulation and equipment (table, benches, gas stove, saw, stove, solar panel for lighting). Sleeping area upstairs (mattresses). A bathtub is located in front of the hut. Water is drawn from a high-altitude source and piped to the hut (with a tap and sink inside). In winter, the connection is disconnected 50 m above the hut, and the water flows freely into a small gully (but it is easy to fill up at the pipe). Firewood can be found nearby.
