Starting point: Two kilometers after Auzat, on the D 108, turn left onto the small road leading to the Pradière hydroelectric plant (1183 m). Access: Follow the GR 10, which goes around the left side of Étang d'Izourt and passes by the orris of La Caudiére. The paved trail passes to the right of Étang Fourcat and reaches the hut.
