Starting from Marc, head northwest briefly on the GR 10, then aim for the hamlets of Remoul (or Remous), then Cap de Roc, from where a trail will climb up to the Orris de Belcaire. From the orris, a nearly horizontal path will head southeast, then northeast once past the spot elevation 1714 m. 700 m further on, the hut is found on the left.
Montcalm state forest, northern sector. Well-restored stone forest shelter, stacked sleeping platforms with two good-quality mattresses, small benches, fireplace, double-glazed door in addition to the main door. Spring 50 m away near the closed Refuge Sportif, abundant firewood. Good small hut.
