Starting from Marc, take the GR 10 briefly northwest, then head towards the hamlets of Remoul (or Remous), then Cap de Roc, from where a trail will climb up to the Orris de Belcaire. From the orris, a nearly horizontal path will run east-southeast, then east-northeast after passing the spot elevation 1714 m. 700 m further on, the cabin is found on the left-hand side.
Montcalm state forest, northern sector. Well-restored stone forest shelter, bunk beds with two mattresses in good condition, small benches, fireplace, double-glazed door in addition to the main door. Fountain 50 m away near the Refuge Sportif (closed), abundant wood supply. Good small cabin.
