Several paths lead to this somewhat remote cabin. - A direct trail climbs from the village of Mijanès starting from a bend in the Bruyante forest road. This is the route I took, but the path, though old, is no longer frequently used and is difficult both for progress and orientation. - The recommended access is via the Mijanès resort: head south on the Riou Pla forest road. At the fork after 1 km, take the eastbound forest track that descends into the valley.
Pastoral shelter with no comfort. A corner hearth with a very high mantle that should ensure quick smoke removal. An old bench and that's all. Nevertheless, it should be possible to sleep 2 or 3 on the concrete floor as the cabin is dry. Abundant wood and water.
