Numerous access routes to the Lacamp plateau (and the eponymous refuge) on foot or by bike from Albas, Quintillan or Villerouge-Termenès via tracks. Tracks are closed to motor vehicles.
Beautiful wooden and parpains chalet (concrete floor). Well maintained and in excellent general condition. Large indoor table (benches on all sides). Functional fireplace with ash bucket and grates. Wood nearby (Do not light any fire outside! Surroundings are very dry). No sleeping accommodation provided, but there is floor space for 4-8 people depending on desired comfort. No water nearby.
