The shelter is located on the forest road below the GR 532 trail coming from the Col du Hantz.
It is a small, unpretentious cabin, quite old but very well maintained, clean and very welcoming. A large table with 2 benches, a wood-burning stove, firewood, some kitchen utensils, a comfortable armchair and a pleasant view of the valley. A few unwanted graffiti, but one can feel that the place is frequented by regulars who take good care of it. So do the same!
