Small stone shelter, mainly used as a base by climbers tackling routes on the southern side of Ste Victoire. Access is FORBIDDEN from July 1st to September 30th. This refuge nearly burned down at the beginning of 2014 due to a hiker's negligence in extinguishing a fire before leaving! Renovated in 2015: the chimney was replaced by a stove, the roof was overhauled, joinery was refreshed, a new cistern and a nice outdoor table were installed. -No water nearby, -wood nearby -bunks without mattresses The location is superb and it is also a good support point for some more acrobatic hikes combining gullies and ridges of this beautiful massif. I do not know if the major fire that affected this side of Ste Victoire a few years ago had any consequences on the cabin...
