Access

- the GR4 and GR400 pass at the Col de Rombière, 200 m above and to the East. - Descend directly through the pastures, where there are some very steep passages and barbed wire fences. - Or at the Collet de l'abreuvoir de Combe Negre, follow paths to the buron at the end of the Rombière track. Then descend the track.

Good to know

- rudimentary buron, earthen floor, tin roof, no windows, no door leaf (hence the "missing a wall"), no furniture. - The tin roof appears to be in good condition and provides shelter from bad weather. - Water point: the trough on the Rombière track, 500 m away. The stream next to the buron was dry during my visit.
