From the town of Eygurande, head towards the massif des Agriers. Follow the forest track leading to the massif. The refuge is located near a pond, on the border between the Creuse department and the Châteauvert forest. Access is more difficult from the Creuse department, only via trails and paths.
Refuge destroyed by a fire in 2017, rebuilt in 2021. Inaugurated in 2022. Equipped with 2 tables, a fireplace (which smokes with a very small fire), toilets and water.
