At the foot of the famous Échelles de la Mort, a historic smuggling site. 200 m upstream from the Refrain hydroelectric turbines, along the GR 5 and the Grande Traversée du Jura.
Former chapel of the hamlet that existed when EDF's activity on the site was at its peak. Today, it is an empty chapel with two tables and two benches, as well as foam mattresses wrapped in plastic in poor condition. Next to the parking area are picnic tables, a fire pit and dry toilets. In high season (and depending on the weather), a food truck operates in front of the house located 100 m away.
