In Villers-le-Lac, a little off the GR 5 and the Grande Traversée du Jura. The hostel is located at the back of the yard of a kind of garage/scrapyard.
Self-managed hostel, open all year round. The owners are not in the hostel but are very easily reachable. Arrival is autonomous with a key box, payment is made in cash (exact change required) or by cheque in an envelope. Large fully equipped kitchen (dishes, utensils, electrical appliances, gas stove, fridge, etc.). Large living room/dining room with television, library. Small bathroom with two showers and a sink, two toilets. Three dormitory rooms with 2x2 bunk beds, 2x2 bunk beds and 3x2 bunk beds, totaling 14 places with disposable sheets, pillows and blankets. Sinks are located in the hallway next to the rooms. Bike storage and garden for pitching a tent. Half-board possible on reservation. 2026 rates: Overnight stay: €17
