4 km from the Col de Carri via a forest track or via the pistes from Chaud Clapier (Font d'Urle station). From the Col de Carri, access is also possible via the Scialet Royer (winter snowshoe track), a marked route distinct from the cross-country ski trails.
There is an old stove with a brand-new pipe. Broom. Saw to be replaced. Two tables and three benches. Numerous sleeping places. Clean and well renovated by young people from the CER de Seormain near Arras (59). In winter, access is possible by cross-country ski (track in front of the refuge) or by snowshoes. No GSM signal at the cabin or to the south; however, if you walk up the track about 150 m to the northeast, there is a small grassy hump on the right where a weak but acceptable voice signal can be received.
