The building was erected in 1756 and originally intended to monitor the coast. It is now part of a listed site comprising several buildings. The guardhouse itself contains no other amenities than a fireplace, an integral part of the building. Its presence on a listed site means it is probably not permanently open: a door with a functional lock has been installed and the interior is equipped with a motion detector that triggers a recording telling you about the life of this place! Can serve as a temporary shelter to protect yourself from whatever you want (rain, sun, etc...).
