Starting from the village of Sewen, in the Masevaux valley, head towards the Ballon d'Alsace. Once you reach the Lac d'Alfeld, continue on the Ballon road for about 2 km. You will find a first parking area on your left, just opposite the path (which is not very visible and goes uphill by car). Take the dirt path which will take you 20 minutes later (on foot) to the Vosges refuge of Boedelen.
