- a stove - two tables and benches - firewood stocked in autumn - 50 metres from the Staufen refuge there is a spring. It is indicated towards the Col de Marbach, red dot. Note that this spring "drips" only and to collect water you will need to prepare a container (e.g. cut plastic bottle) to leave and collect 15 minutes later to obtain about 1 litre of spring water (information from December 2016).
