By car: Below the ridge road, between the Col de la Schlucht and the Markstein. Caution: the road is not cleared in winter. During the winter period and when the ridge road is closed, the hut is not accessible by car. On foot: Located near the GR5, close to the Huss inn. From Kruth train station: Via the Blue Disk trail, elevation gain 670 m, walking time 2h00. From Wildenstein: Parking at the church, via the Red Disk trail, elevation gain 600 m, walking time 1h30. From Mittlach: Parking at the campsite, via the Yellow Cross trail, then Red Rectangle trail, elevation gain 600 m, walking time 2h15. From Metzeral train station: Via the Red Chevalet trail, then Red Rectangle trail, elevation gain 700 m, walking time 3h. From the Col du Bramont: Parking at the pass, via the Blue Rectangle trail, then Red Bicolour trail passing through the Col de l’étang and the Rothenbach, walking time 1h45.
Prices: Day pass 3 €. Overnight stay 15.00 € (as of 27/11/2024). Meals: From late May to early October, meals can be taken at the Huss inn (350 m away). Other: Beautiful dining room with tiled stove. The club does not serve meals or drinks. Shared kitchen available and possibility of packed meals. Games room, volleyball court. The hut cannot be rented in its entirety; it is open to groups of 10 to 12 people upon reservation. Sleeping bags and/or sheets are mandatory. Available for rent on site. Languages spoken: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish.
