Access on foot via the GR20 (markings, signs). Road access from Ghisoni as for the ski resort: the hut is a few meters upstream from the private stage lodge "U Fugone".
Opened in 1976, roof renovated in 2017. 2 rooms: dormitory (wooden bunks, maximum capacity 16 people) + kitchen/dining area. Flat space for camping just outside. Tap on the exterior wall near the entrance, but sometimes disconnected: use nearby river or spring. Condition as of May 2022: 12 decent mattresses, table and benches, cupboards with utensils, crockery, and some provisions, cooking plates and some gas left, stove usable despite leaks, some dry wood, main entrance door broken (blocked); use the other door on the side.
