The hut itself burned down in 2019, so hikers are accommodated only in rented tents if they do not have their own. Facilities and amenities are organized around the large bivouac area: toilets, showers, summer kitchens, drinking water source, grocery shop, picnic tables and winter refuge. The hut offers lunch and dinner service.
