From Couéu, hike towards Coume longue in the valley bottom for 1h30. You reach the pass, the hut is just to the right. The trail is in very good condition and used by modern shepherds in 4x4 vehicles.
Very beautiful ridge hut that may be reserved by hunters on occasion. The entrance door is very stiff and requires a good shove. The fountain is 20 m from the door and was flowing gently during our visit in late August 2016. Surrounded by forest. Numerous kitchen utensils. Saw + broom. A few mattresses, there is a lower bunk bed and the entire upper floor is accessible (sometimes indicated as locked online).
