The Chavan refuge is a staffed mountain hut located in the commune of Mieussy, in Haute-Savoie. It is run by Claudius Felisaz.

Access

Start from the Plan des Rasses car park. Leave the track to take the path on the left. Allow 1 hour, 400 metres of positive elevation gain. It can also be accessed via Mégevette - Tête des Follys - Col de Chavannais. Allow 4 good hours and 1000 metres of positive elevation gain.

A drinking water fountain flows permanently just beside the hut.
