The refuge is guarded only in summer from June to September. Booking is mandatory in order of registration. Equipped kitchen, wood stove and propane stove, cold water on sink and hot water during the period of guardianship. 35 places in summer divided into 2 dormitories + 2 rooms of 8 places. Mattresses and blankets provided. Sleeping bag or sleeping sheet and pillowcase are mandatory. Booking: https://reservation.essert-romand-village.com/. OUTSIDE THE GUARDIANSHIP PERIODS: Only the 2 dormitories upstairs are open for a total capacity of 19 places. There is no hot water or electricity. Candles are STRICTLY forbidden. Bring your headlamps. The keys are handed over by APPOINTMENT at Isabelle Tagand's place, café de la Mairie in Vacheresse (phone: 04 50 73 14 18), against a deposit cheque of 100€. Please report to Isabelle, upon departure, any malfunction or remarks about the condition of the refuge. If you arrive via the GR5 and cannot pick up the key from Isabelle Tagand, please contact us.
