Access

The hut is located below the forest road along the GR tour du vieux Chaillol. Access is possible from Pont des Fossés.

Good to know

1 fireplace but not operational: a lot of smoke accumulates in the room, making it quickly unbreathable. However, a sign in the room (visible in one of the photos) states: fire prohibited. 1 table and benches. Upstairs, accessible only from the outside, a wooden floor allows for 6 or 7 people to sleep. 1 fountain next to the hut. In the dormitory, no closing window (just an opening). Corrugated iron roof, not insulated. No glass windows, only shutters in the lower room.
