The hut is very likely occupied in summer by a shepherd as equipment is found there. There are no mattresses or blankets. Little firewood is available nearby, apart from a few small groves, so be careful not to overuse the stock. The hut is well insulated and quickly bathed in sunlight. Water can be found about 200m away in a stream leading towards the Col de Vars. 1 two-person sleeping place and 2 long sleeping places. Closed in October 2025 with no certainty about occupancy status.
