From France, follow the trail via Col Pisset. From Italy, take the route via Colle Vecchio (very poor and exposed) starting from Rifugio Granero.

Provides shelter in bad weather, no longer locked but still used by the shepherd to store some equipment. Space on the ground for two people lying down. No nearby water source, but the trail crosses streams just before reaching the hut.
