Access

From Molines-en-Queyras, the D.205 L road climbs towards the hamlet of Fontgillarde, where it becomes D.205 T. Formerly unpaved from there, it regularly ascends on the right bank of the Aigue-Agnelle up to the Col Agnel, passing right in front of the hut. Access from the Italian side is much steeper, winding and in winter exposed to avalanches...not to mention that in 1974 landslides made it even more difficult to access!

Good to know

This area is stunning in winter, of course, but the shoulder seasons are magical. Hikes and climbs for all levels are possible: Pain de sucre, Pic d'Asti, Caramantran, etc....as well as valley-to-valley walks, too numerous to count. Photos please...!
