After the Cabane des Mails, follow a trail that climbs into the wooded area above the hut, then along the ridge. It is then located at the bottom of the trail that leads up to the Casque du Lhéris.
A first concrete hut, equipped with solar panels, providing indoor lighting. Tables, benches, stools and chairs available. Grill, stoves and pots. Wood and saws. The fireplace is present in this hut. Four bunk beds. A second hut nearby made of metal, used only for sleeping (6 mattresses). Both huts are very clean and in excellent condition. Outdoor table with a superb view. No water source; the nearest point seems to be the spring located further down, at the Cabane des Mails.
