Access from Andabre or Nougayrol via the GR/Compostelle, then follow a trail marked by a "SAINT EUTROPE" sign. This trail climbs rapidly and turns into stairs for the last half. It is possible to continue along the ridge to the summit via the path that starts opposite the refuge.
Open refuge attached below the chapel. Restored in the 1980s. Very extensive panorama! Furniture includes: 1 table, 1 low chair, 2 saws, 1 broom, grills, pans, pots, a kettle and cutlery (dusty), inflatable mattresses stored. There are some drafts and the chimney smokes in strong winds. There is a lot of dead wood along the ascent trail. Sleeping is on the mezzanine (3 people), possibly more on the floor. The spring had a low flow (mid-May 2021), so it may not be active in summer.
