Located deep in the Séchilienne forest, between the Fontfroide forest track and the Fontaine de l'Ours track. It can be reached via a grassy path connecting these two tracks.
Modest forest hut built in a discreet clearing. The interior is rather dark, the only window being small. Clever trapdoor in the middle of the entrance door allowing the use of the external lock from the inside. Furniture includes: a table, two chairs, a bench, a fireplace, and a ladder leading to an upstairs wooden floor that can be used for sleeping. Insulation is average, at least upstairs where the wooden planks making up the walls are not very tightly joined. There is a spring about 100m further up the path, but it seems to dry up for much of the year.
