From Charnod, head towards Aromas, then climb the Vablière hill. Before reaching the summit, turn left into the meadow; the cabin is on the right, at the top of the meadow.
The shelter is surrounded by a light fence to prevent animals grazing in the meadow from entering and damaging it. Shelter indicated on IGN map.
