Access

Central sector of Mont Lozère, southern slope. Along the Nègre forest road, a detour heads southeast and leads to the shelter. Approximately 1750 m as the crow flies northwest of the La Brousse hamlet.

Good to know

This point appears on IGN maps as a "forest shelter". It is a single-storey masonry building with no floors. No equipment. Water seeps into the hollow of the valley located 200 m to the east. Wood is available everywhere. The latest report leaves no doubt about its condition: the building is being destroyed and is unsuitable as a shelter.
