The hostel is located exactly at the col de la Moréno, on the edge of the D942 road. From the north (Col de Ceysac): descend the D68 for 400 m eastwards, at the bend continue into the forest, pass between Puy de Besace and Puy Salomon, continue for 1 km to a crossroads. Take a left onto a forest path that climbs to a crossroads at 1080 m, then take a right onto the gravel road that descends, then climb back up the D52 for 200 m (these roads are very quiet). From Laschamp, there is an unmarked path on the IGN map: take the GR4 southwards, after 50 m turn right for 200 m, then take a path along a field northwards to the crossroads. Follow a track to the left of the D52 to the junction with the D942, then a well-marked forestry track to the col de la Moréno.
