From the station of the chalets d'Iraty, follow the road for 3 km which descends to the right of the restaurant (private but open to traffic). At a bend, a dirt track branches off to the right towards the col d'Ugatzé (100 m away). The hut is located below the start of the track, on the left.
It is (or was) a hunter's hut. It is no longer closed as there is no longer a door. To be honest, I even doubt its solidity: being built on stilts on a steep slope, the structure lacks a bit of stability. Nevertheless, it can serve as a useful shelter in case of need (there are worse options on WRI). Nothing usable inside.
