From the Port de Larrau, descend on the French side for 500 m and follow a horizontal track south-southeast for 2 hours; the cayolar is on the left, below a shepherd's cabin.
Very beautiful cabin that has been restored through work camps organized by the association Bortükariak. Very clean, two sleeping platforms (which were used to make fires), a working fireplace, a broom, a picnic table (with two benches), a stream (a spring 150 m higher up in a circle of stones, near the stream by the shepherd's cabin, a safe solution in this grazing area). There are a few candles and two clotheslines outside as well as inside. Firewood is quite far away.
