Accessible from the Col de Mantet via a forest track, or from the ridge (Les Esquerdes de Rotja) by descending from the Porteille de Rotja.
Restored building, clearly frequented mainly by riders. Several compartments (hunters, shepherds?) of which only one is open to hikers. Accessible by car when there is no snow. Large room with completely unsuitable architecture (ceiling over 4 m high at the center). Side room with mattresses for about 4 people. Table, benches. The fireplace is just as poorly designed as the rest: tiny opening and flue, undersized and very high chimney. This device is completely unable to heat anything, let alone the cathedral-ceilinged room. Perfect for playing cowboy in summer, but in winter, with 80 cm of snow and -18°C, water freezes in the cups, snow falling through the flue onto the hearth stone does not melt... assuming you have found dry dead wood. Water in the nearby stream. Things may have changed since my visit. Only one (analog) exterior photo.
