From the Gîte de Batère (1h15) or from Arles-sur-Tech (2h) by following the GR10.
- The refuge is open, simply locked by an iron door - The chimney draws well and does not backdraft - Plenty of wood nearby. Fill up for the next users, especially in case of bad weather, dry wood is needed. - Good insulation despite single glazing - Bring warm bedding anyway - Table, chairs, wooden bunks - Tools available - Water nearby, follow the GR10 towards Arles-sur-Tech, you will reach a stream. Otherwise, bring water before arriving from Batère (fountain outside on the road)
