Access

3 possible access routes (in all cases suitable only for experienced hikers as the trail is not marked and sometimes gets lost). 1) trail starting from the ruins of the Grande Berge (caution: above the Dunand ruins the trail is partially collapsed). 2) trail crossing the Parozan gap = indicated on the refuges info map, but often a vague trace in practice. 3) crossing the Col d'Arpire, one side grassy but steep, the other side scree much steeper.
