From the port of Porquerolles, take the track towards Notre-Dame, which is wide and passes from beach to beach. After 5 kilometres, it becomes a path that climbs slightly and leads to Cap des Mèdes. At the end of Porquerolles Island, on Cap des Mèdes occupied by a very large open battery.
No equipment but a good dry shelter upstairs. It is huge: 6 rooms upstairs, 6 rooms in the basement. No equipment. Windows cannot be closed. Camping is prohibited here, as it is throughout the rest of Porquerolles Island. To be used only as a shelter in bad weather.
