This sheet does not concern the refuge du Trou du Rat, owned by the ONF but not meeting the acceptance criteria of the refuges.info website. However, three shelters can be found around the building: 1 in front (a lean-to annex to the structure), 1 against the oven (picnic table and fireplace) and 1 other (but I did not understand where?). There are three places where it is possible to bivouac under cover. Just behind the main shelter, where the oven is located, there is a small room with a door. The shelter may be worth more than the other two, provided you clean it and remove the stones.
