From the Col de la Vierge, upon arriving at the parking lot of the Chaume du Grand Ventron, go down and immediately take the forest path to the left that leads to the Grand Ventron. The cabin is located 30 meters to the left, overlooking the surroundings.
Small elevated wooden shelter in the forest along the forest track leading to the Grand Ventron. Insulation and cleanliness need improvement (no broom), but the location and equipment are good: benches, tables, stove and firewood, windows to observe wildlife. Unfortunately, the place is not respected (graffiti, toilet paper left scattered all around). No water nearby !!
