At the top of the Haute Bers pasture, below the trail, along the GR 5 and GR5F, near the GR531.
This shelter is one of the 10 log cabins in the Doller valley. Large tables, outdoor and indoor benches. A broom, saws and rings for installing 2 hammocks are available. Stove repaired in March 2022. Log saw since May 2023 (thanks Phil68) May 2024, the saw has disappeared :( About 150m east is the [->4852] which does not always flow during drought (see the information sheet). About 800m west, in the forest, is the [->4853] which seems more reliable during drought (see the information sheet). Wild camping is strictly prohibited and carries a fine of €135: You can sleep in the cabin, first come first served. Fires are allowed depending on weather conditions; in windy conditions, they are prohibited and carry the same €135 fine.
