From Lago sott. di Fremamorta (ruins, 2359 m), follow the trail heading S towards Col de Frémamorte. Walk along the first lake on the left and, after a very short ascent/descent, reach the second lake (Lago med. di Fremamorta, 2380 m). Follow the old military path that climbs above the lake and, at the second bend, take the path that branches off to the left in an ascending traverse. After a few minutes, you will reach the Guiglia bivouac (a worn-out red metal container).
Metal carcass optimized for 9 people: foldable beds, 3 on the left, 3 on the right and 3 at the back. Small table in the middle with benches. Caution: few blankets. Quite humid inside. No gas. Approximate GPS coordinates !! Caution: in heavy snow conditions, the bivouac is hard to find.
