This bivouac was located at the Col Est du Grand Neyron. This bivouac has been closed since 9 July 2019 due to significant instability of the col caused by glacial retreat.
The final evacuation of the bivouac's carcass was not without difficulty. A spectacular reinforcement was required to remove it. The bivouac did not want to leave! A video of its retirement is available. We hope to find it again, after renovation, in another valley of the Aosta Valley.
