The Maison Vieille refuge is a privately run guarded mountain hut located in Courmayeur, in the Valle d'Aosta. It is managed by Giacomo Calosi.

Accessible on foot from Courmayeur via Dolonne and Plan Chécrouit in 1h30, via Notre-Dame de Guérison and the Checrouit pass at the entrance to the Val Vény in 1h, or from Pré pascal with the Val Vény cable car in 45 min. It is possible to take the Dolonne cable car and the Maison Vieille chairlift, which operate during the summer season. In winter, the refuge is located in the middle of the ski slopes of the Courmayeur resort.
Open from mid-June to late September and from early December to late April. Several dormitories with bunk beds. Bathrooms with hot showers. Possibility to recharge small devices. Mobile network and wifi available. Meals served during the day, dinner at 7 pm, breakfast from 7 am to 8 am. Payment in cash or by bank card. French and Italian spoken. Wild camping is prohibited. 2022 prices in dormitory: Half board adult = €60, Half board child (under 12) = €40, Full dinner = €30, Breakfast = €12, Dormitory + shower = €25.
