Access

Benasque valley: At the height of the village of Seira south of Castejon de Sos (where you can join the Vielha tunnel), enter this village and continue to Barbaruens. 200m before the village where car entry is prohibited, take the track that goes up on the left. This stony track is quite driveable. Take the first forest path that extends a hairpin bend (the 3rd one), you arrive at a parking area created by a bulldozer. You can possibly continue a little on the track which ends in a dead end where the path from the parking area goes up to the refuge (signpost). From the parking area, continue on the wide path that climbs steeply through the forest, you will then come across the marked path (which goes up from Barbaruens) which you follow to the refuge (count 1H30). You can also start from Barbaruens, on the red/white marked path.
