From the Ull de Ter station, take the access trail to [->5365]. You reach the hut in 20 minutes. Then follow the GR11 markers, which climb the valley to Coll de la Marrana at 2533m. The well-marked trail descends slightly and then remains horizontal, in a zigzag, towards the northeast, before climbing up to the hut. The hut is also accessible from the very easy ridge to the west via GR11/HRP.
There is little water nearby; you need to descend a little. A rescue phone is available at the back of the hut.
