From [->5660]: Follow northwards along the eastern shore of Daubensee, with Rinderhorn on the right, via a wide track that gently descends to the northern end of the lake. The track then goes down a few hairpins and continues flat to reach the "large" hut, with a huge view of the local giant, Altels 3629m. From Kandersteg: Walk or take the cable car south to Sunnbüel 1936m, then follow an easy track to the hut, which is not visible until the last bend when approaching from this side (hidden by a ridge).
