From Reconvilier, head towards Halle des fêtes then follow the road leading up to the Werdtberg restaurant. It is advisable to leave your car in the Werdberg car park. From there, a 15-minute walk: take the path heading west to Bovistop, from where you can see the hut to the northeast about 70m away.
The hut is only staffed on weekends and is closed the rest of the time. However, it can be rented. At weekends, visitors may cook but are asked to consume drinks sold by the wardens. It has a stove and hot water. No showers. Overnight rates: Pierre-Pertuis members 8.--, SAC members 12.--, non-members 15.--, children of members accompanied up to 16 years free, other children up to 16 years 7.--.
