In Zollhaus, follow the direction of the Gurnigel pass. Drive to Sangernboden and cross the bridge. Free parking is available at Schönenboden, from where the chalet is reached in 30 minutes on foot. At Steinershohberg, it is possible to park 500 meters from the chalet for CHF 3.-.
The chalet is guarded every weekend from Ascension Day to early July, then daily until mid-September. No showers.
